Meet Our Team
Dr. Shamaoun or Steven, as he prefers, was born and raised in Bartella, Iraq. He attended the University of Mosul where he graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) from the College of Dentistry in 2007. He made the move to Calgary/Canada in 2017, and finished the degree Qualification Process done By National Dental Examining Board of Canada in 2020.
Steven strives for clinical excellence while also making your visit as pleasant as possible. To keep up with the latest dental techniques, materials and technology Steven devotes a significant portion of his time to continued education. He is a strong believer in dentistry as a health care profession first and a business second. Steven and the entire Brentwood Village Dental team are dedicated to providing a professional yet comfortable and inviting environment.
In his spare time Steven tries to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. He enjoys a range of activities which includes biking and working out, also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and traveling.
