Dr. Diana Kinyua was born in raised in Kenya. She moved to Canada to pursue her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. After earning this degree Dr. Kinyua moved to the USA where she attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University. She then worked in Florida, before relocating to Calgary and joining the Brentwood Village Dental Clinic team in July 2016.
Dr. Kinyua keeps up to date with the latest advances in dental treatment and technology through actively attending continuing education courses, as well as reading dental and medical journals. She enjoys meeting families and getting to know her patients, while building trusting relationships. Dr. Kinyua firmly believes that these solid foundations help her patients feel at ease during their dental visits.
While volunteering her time for Give Kids A Smile in Florida, Dr. Kinyua enjoyed the opportunity to treat children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Dr. Kinyua also participated in a mission trip to Jamaica where she had the privilege of treating under served communities.
Dr. Kinyua loves spending her free time with her boyfriend and bull terrier. She also appreciates spending time outdoors participating in such activities as canoeing, biking, kayaking and international travel. Dr. Kinyua is multilingual; she is fluent in English, Swahili and Kikuyu.
